Notes by Allan Brown: [This] is a class picture from Burntisland Junior Secondary school. I am third from the right in the back row. I started school there in the fall of 1947, just before my fifth birthday, and I am guessing that the picture was probably taken around 1949. I have no idea of the names of the other students. Postscript: Christina Spain emailed to say that she believes that the girl fourth from the left in the second row from the back is her mother, Elizabeth Gordon.
