The Launch of the Merganser on 14 June 1946
The launch of the SS Merganser at the Burntisland Shipbuilding Company Ltd on 14th June, 1946. The ship was built for the British and Continental Steamship Company Ltd of Liverpool. Mrs W A Edmenson performed the naming ceremony. Many thanks to Keddie Law for the photographs.
