The Toll Park 1968. Note the changing hut used by Burntisland Cricket Club. At right-angles to the hut is the surfaced practice area. To the left of the cricket pitch area is a football pitch. No buildings appear on Black Jock's Hill. This land, owned by Burntisland Shipyard, was taken over for executive-style buildings on a rocky, igneous outcrop which until that time supported only whin bushes. There is a garage shown at the junction of the Kirkton and Cowdenbeath roads, owned for many years by a Mr Scott.
