Notes by Stuart Alexander of Lower Hutt, New Zealand (formerly of Dick Crescent, Burntisland)
This is a small group photo taken at the same street party as in the photo 'Dick Crescent post war celebrations 1'. (You can tell, as the clothes being worn are the same as in the large group photo.) The boys are, from left to right: me, Tom Paterson, the cousins Martin & Eric Montgomery and George Drummond. I cannot be sure of the other boy's name, he was younger than us. However a name something like Dickinson come vaguely to mind. Tom still lives in Burntisland and George lives in Shrewsbury. I have no idea of where the others are. I remember these street parties. The first one was held to celebrate the end of the war in 1945. However they were repeated, as far as I can remember, in 1946 and 1947.
